I remember having to ask myself these VERY TOUGH QUESTIONS after I was in heartbreak yet again for the 10th freaking time in 8 years, after I had to file a bankruptcy because I couldn't keep up with my irresponsible lifestyle, after I could hardly sit or stand because my chronic back pain was so unbearable and after I had basically hit rock bottom at the ripe old age of 30!
Talk about a fucking WAKE UP CALL!! Geez man!! I'll never forget it, coming back home to my new east coast apartment from a friend's California wedding with my boyfriend at the time realizing how much he gave two shits about my feelings and needs due to his behavior that entire weekend at what was suppose to be a beautiful loving time. I couldn't believe how much and how long I was SETTLING FOR SHIT in that relationship. Thank god we didn't live together and I had my own nice cozy place to return to. So grateful to that freedom of space to this day!
Here's what happened, when we got back to Baltimore, I realized how DRAINED and lonely I felt, how much money I spent on that trip and hardly enjoyed any of it and how much he only cared about himself and his needs and no consideration of my own. THIS RIGHT HERE is what shook me and had me ANGRY!!! I mean fucking ANGRY!!! I expressed that anger, hurt and disappointment to him rationally and then I received passive aggressive behavior from him for 4 days, he ignored me for 4 days BECAUSE I WAS EXPRESSING my true feelings, hurt and pain.
The next day which was the 5th day, and that's when the Universe/God stepped into my life and messaged to me loud and clear "Nikki! Take personal responsibility for your life! Take ownership of what you're allowing and accepting from others! Get to work on changing your ways, you can't keep blaming other people! You must look in the mirror and take responsibility for your own behavior, attitude, decisions and actions! If you're ready to start doing this my child, I will help you!"
I KID YOU NOT, this was the message I received LOUD AND CLEAR!! I don't remember the exact words, but I promise you it was pretty similar to these above. Two weeks later I discovered Life Coaching, and then landed upon my personal Life Coach, Christine. And well, now I'm here!😉
Over the last 6 years, I learned how to heal from past childhood trauma, abandonment, neglect, emotional abuse, overwhelming feelings of not good enough and not lovable, fear of failure, self-doubt, massive insecurity, people pleasing, self-betrayal, chronic back pain, poor money management habits, very unhealthy relationships and more!!
4 1/2 years ago I met my soulmate my now fiance. We travel the world together 3 to 4 times a year, bought a lovely home, share the same values, support and inspire each other to win in life. We're also independent and our own person, we know who we are separate from each other meaning we have a very healthy personal sense of self, self-confidence and feeling of worth and value. We know these feelings don't just come from being together as a couple, but that they're already our raw ingredients from within.
Life has been AMAZING these past 6 years, the MOST FULFILLING of all, the cherry on top for me has been being able to step up and help women JUST LIKE YOU who are in place now where I used to be.
